OpenWorthy
The few emails that need you, marked — and nobody reads your mail to do it.
OpenWorthy puts a Worth Reading mark on the emails that actually need you: replies in conversations you’re part of, mail from people you write to, invitations, messages written to you alone. Everything else stays exactly where it was.

Dana LeviWorth ReadingQuick question about Thursday
- Your mail stays yours. OpenWorthy runs on your computer. Nothing about you or your mail ever leaves it — not to us, not to anyone. Check it yourself.
- It never opens your emails. It looks only at who sent a message, to whom, and which conversation it belongs to. Never the text, never an attachment.
- It never moves or deletes anything. It adds its mark, and it can take every one of them off again.
- Every mark says why. “You’re in this conversation.” “You’ve written to them before.” No black box, and no AI.
- It learns from you. Take a mark off and it learns that sender matters less. It never changes its settings without asking you.
Five minutes to start
- Download the app for Mac, Windows or Linux.
- Connect your email: Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo, and most others.
- Look at the preview. It shows what it would mark, and marks nothing until you say so.
- Press Start. From then on, new mail is marked as it arrives.
Free for one mailbox, with no time limit. Pro covers every mailbox you have, and has your mail server mark mail from your most trusted senders while your computer is off.
