Open it, and it walks you through the rest.
Connect your email
Type your email address. Gmail and Microsoft accounts open your browser to sign in as usual. Other providers — iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo and most others — ask for an app password, a password your provider issues for one app; OpenWorthy tells you where to get it. Your passwords and sign-ins are kept in your computer’s own secure storage, never in a file.
Look before it marks
OpenWorthy first learns who you write to, from your Sent folder, then shows you what it would mark from the last week. Nothing is marked yet. Untick anything that isn’t important — that teaches it — and press Start marking. From then on, new mail is marked as it arrives.
Closing the window leaves OpenWorthy marking mail in the background. To stop it, choose Help → Stop OpenWorthy.
More than one computer
Install it on as many of your computers as you like. They agree among themselves that only one marks mail at a time; if that one sleeps or shuts down, another takes over within about ten minutes.
Remove it
To take its marks off first, press Undo all on each group of marks on the Activity screen. Then, in Settings, press Remove next to each account: that deletes what OpenWorthy kept about it on your computer and, for Google, withdraws its access. Then delete the app.
Using the command line, a server, a NAS or Docker? Everything technical is here.
